Cross-Country

Season Outlook 2007

This year we have two seniors, Rachel Nodine and Katrina Beck who will be our captains for the 2007 season.  Maxine Bone, a junior, will be our co-captain.  These three have a lot on their shoulders because they will be leading 7 new freshman.  We can count on these three leaders to help build and bond a strong Brenau Golden Tiger Cross Country Team. 

To start the season off, the cross country runners were rewarded for their hardwork over the summer with a camping trip to Nantahala, North Carolina.  After some great running, tubing and whitewater rafting, we’re ready to get this season kicked off. 

Our first race is a preview of the NAIA Region course, which takes place at Berry College.  This will be a great start for the team because the course is relatively flat with a few rolling hills.  Perfect for getting your running shoes and mind warmed up for a strong cross country season.

The highlight of our season will be the Southeast Classic held in Nashville, Tennessee on October 20th.  Please check out our schedule and come out to support the Brenau Golden Tiger Cross Country Team.  We look forward to seeing you!
