Cal Ripken was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.  Now retired, he is famous for having 400 home runs and more than 3000 hits on his record.  He played almost 2,700 consecutive games, mostly as shortstop and on third base.   The Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach enjoys an international reputation as a great venue for youth basketball training.
