Gordon Leslie
Brenau Athletic Director
and Tennis Coach

Coach Leslie was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, but grew up, and was educated in Essex, England. He spent over 34 years as an international insurance executive living in Spain, the Carribean, South America and Brazil. He speaks both Spanish and Portuguese fluently.
A multi-sport athlete, he competed at Junior Wimbledon and while working in Spain was able to combine his business career with a spell playing semi-pro soccer. He has extensive experience in coaching both sports and moved to Brenau from Shorter College where he initiated their varsity soccer program.
When asked what he felt he will bring to the athletic program at Brenau he replied – “I feel that my diverse background in business and athletics plus my experiences living and playing sports overseas give me a better understanding of how to motivate students to excel both in the classroom and on the field of play”
Coach Leslie is married and has 3 sons.

Zora Gyoreova
Assistant Coach

Zora is a new member of the Brenau Golden Tigers tennis coaching staff. Zora is a past member of Brenau's team, transferring here at the beginning of her junior year. She played number 1 singles and doubles and was named All-American both years. A native of Slovakia, she led the 15th ranked Golden Tigers during her last 3 seasons.

Head Coach Gordon Leslie commented, “ Zora is a great addition to our tennis program. With such a young team, her experience will prove invaluable for our players.”

Zora has a lifetime of international playing and training experience, and is PTR certified.
